How to choose the cupboard that fits

Via the website, you can configure your own wardrobe and see the price immediately. The dimensions are fixed: the Libeccio hinged-door wardrobe is available from 48.5 to 402.5 cm wide, the Libeccio and BORA sliding-door wardrobe from 186.5 to 402.5 cm, in fixed width increments and three heights: 234.6, 257, and 289 cm. If one of these sizes fits your space, this is the fastest way.

Custom work is your choice if none of these sizes fit, or if your space requires more: a niche that needs to be filled exactly, a slanted ceiling, a corner, or a walk-in closet. You will first receive a no-obligation 3D design. After your approval, we will measure everything down to the millimeter so that the wardrobe is guaranteed to fit.

In the configurator, you choose a layout for each column. Start with what you own, not the cabinet:

• Long hanging for coats, dresses, and long trousers.
• Double hanging for shirts, blouses, and folded trousers: with two rods one above the other, you can hang more in the same width.
• Drawers for underwear, socks, jewelry, and anything else you prefer to keep out of sight.
• Shelves for sweaters, bags, and shoes.

If two people are using the cabinet, give each person their own section. You can choose LED lighting per column; useful for a cabinet located in a dark corner.

1. Measure the width at three heights: at the floor, halfway up, and at the ceiling. Use the smallest measurement.
2. Measure the height on the left, in the middle, and on the right. Here too, the smallest measurement counts.
3. Check for obstacles: baseboards, power outlets, switches, radiators, windowsills, and sloped ceilings.
4. Keep the depth in mind: a Libeccio hinged-door wardrobe is 62 cm deep without the handle, and a sliding-door wardrobe is 66.3 cm. A hinged door also requires space in front of it to open.

In the configurator, each wardrobe includes View all dimensions and Will this wardrobe fit in my room?. If it doesn't quite fit, custom-made is usually the better choice.

A cabinet from the website comes in a fixed size. If there is space left next to or above the cabinet, you will see it. If you want to fill a niche or wall exactly, from wall to wall or up to the ceiling, we will custom-make the cabinet. For custom projects, we will measure everything down to the millimeter after you have approved the design, including in difficult corners.

Different rules apply to custom-made products and cabinets in standard sizes.

• Custom-made products are created especially for you. Therefore, the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. Once you have approved the final design, cancellation is generally not possible. If costs have already been incurred, for example for design, measuring, materials, or production, these may be charged to you in the event of cancellation. Once production has started, changes are usually no longer possible.
• A cabinet in standard sizes that you purchase remotely, for example via the website, generally has a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days. This starts on the day after you receive the cabinet.
